Pencil drawing of Luana, size 21 x 20 cm, drawn from a reference pose on the Art Models 6 DVD from Live Model Books. This pose is also available on the PoseSpace website, www.posespace.com.

I hope that nobody is offended by this slightly ‘revealing’ pose, but I was attracted to it particularly by the extreme foreshortening of the left leg reducing it to a series of convex arcs (toes, heel, calf and thigh) that echo the beautiful roundness of her buttocks.

Edit 2 Jan 14:  I have used Zoner Photo Studio 15 (a photo-editing program that I did not have at the time of my original upload) to adjust the white and black levels of my original photograph so that it more closely approaches the appearance of my drawing.
