Description
Graphite pencil drawing using Maxim Slugin's (maxslu) photo Angel as reference, on A4 smooth surface Bristol board.
I Thank Maxim for his kind permission to make this drawing from his beautiful portrait.
The original photo was rather high key and I decided to adjust the gamma of the photo to darken it slightly before I drew it; I hope that Maxim does not object to this.
EDIT 28 Oct 13: As so often happens, the uploaded photo does not accurately portray the original; it looked too muddy. I have replaced it with one which more closely approaches my drawing.
Edited 3 October 2014: Photo replaced with a better one, having improved definition.

It's truly amazing how well you can pencil eyes. They look so real and smooth. And not to mention how well you portray hair! Gosh, it's ridiculous how perfect you're able to draw it, every little strand like that! Wow! 
Your skin shading is practically flawless too, I could honestly stare at this particular drawing for an hour straight. Amazing
